Schwable Ultrimo Aqua Tyre

Lets not beat about the bush this tyre is simply amazing! Usually on our winter bikes we like to fit Continental Gatorskins but this year I decided to go for something different. After hunting around I decided upon the Schwable Ultrimo Aqua in 700 x 23c. I have been testing this tyre for a few weeks now and I love it. The grip surpasses anything I have tried before in the wet. Yes this tyre is aimed specifically at wet weather riding but I have no complaints in the dry either. Rolling resistance is low unlike some winter tyres and so far no punctures. The tyre does pick up debris easier than some but this is down to the compound so you do need to brush your tyres off after a ride. If I had to nit pick the tyre is a little bit noisy but I will live with that for the grip and handling.

In summary a fantastic confidence inspiring tyre and fully deserves 5 stars.
